Thermal-image processing
AI · Case study
Thermal-imaging and computer-vision work for cattle detection and livestock observation.

Overview
What we built
Counting and observing livestock is difficult in ordinary imagery, especially in poor light. This project used thermal imaging with computer vision to detect cattle reliably from their heat signature rather than their appearance.
The vision workflow processes thermal input to identify animals consistently across conditions, giving a practical basis for observation and monitoring. It turns a difficult manual task into a repeatable, image-driven process.
Technology
What we delivered
Cattle detection
Computer-vision workflow
How we approached it
A disciplined path from problem to working system.
Understand
We start with the users, the data, and the systems already in place.
Shape
We define the outcome and the technical approach before building.
Build
We deliver in visible increments with engineering quality throughout.
Operate
We support, observe, and evolve the system after it ships.
Outcome
A practical thermal-imaging workflow for detecting cattle in visual data.
